LAVA STONE - ITESUTTI & PATCHWORK
iTessuti and Patchwork presents a contemporary approach to lava stone by applying a 100% recycled glass pattern to the surface. The recycled glass glaze is the outcome of grinding and crushing discarded computer and TV monitors into a fine powder. The fine powder mixed with pigment is then screen-printed onto the surface of the basalt. The outcome of baking to fuse the two materials is a range of patterned stone inspired by various textiles inclusive of geometric, oriental and floral, the 5x designs offered in 7x colourways affording projects a multitude of possibilities.
Modules with different patterns and colours can be mixed to create the patchwork.
Please note that this product is available in a vast number of sizes in 10mm and 20mm thicknesses and is also available as cut to size for specific architectural projects.
