Within the Frame

Within the frame created by Kate Carter is a display of materiality and refinement. This Auckland villa extension by Architect Julian Guthrie provides a well-proportioned living area and kitchen, with the kitchen providing a beautiful focal point through Kate's use of the unique and interesting Solara marble applied to the island, while the adjoining scullery and splashbacks take advantage of the texturally muted and complementary Japanese INAX 2 x 1 Inch mosaics.

The bathroom utilises the same approach to materiality, with the Solara marble applied to the vanities and the INAX Sugie Series mosaics applied to the walls.
