Origine
The interior for Auckland fine dining establishment Origine fits the French inspired menu with its references to Maison De Verre, using clever combinations of both modern and traditional design elements.
Architect Jack McKinney utilised our green Micro 6 Mini Mosaics, made in Italy from recycled glass, for the tabletops – creating both an interesting surface to dine from, as well as referencing the ethical practices of the restaurant and today's focus on sustainability.
Material Space also supplied natural stone used for the bar areas, complementing the red leather banquette seating, Thonet bentwood furniture and solid French oak floors that collectively give Orgine a distinctly European character.
